You’re in safe hands, your host, Tom, is a passionate balloonist with over 20 years of flying experience, including 5,000 hours in gliders, ultralights and hot-air balloons. He will get you acquainted with all aspects of ballooning from before take-off to the moment you land gently back on the ground.
Hot Air Balloon Flights

Balloon flights take place year-round in the early morning to take advantage of the most favourable weather conditions.
Part of the experience is to help get the equipment ready and assist with the inflation of the balloon.The balloon is unwrapped and inflated using a large fan. The air inside is then heated and once the balloon takes shape, the pilot invites you to jump aboard!
Take off is magical, you lift gently over the trees and fly over village squares from where people watch and wave. For over an hour you will fly over the Alpes de Haute-Provence region on an unplanned course drifting peacefully through the skies with the breeze.
The pilot monitors the speed and direction of the balloon throughout the flight and directs the balloon to a safe landing area. After your flight you’ll enjoy a brunch of delicious local specialities.
Tickets purchased in advance are valid for one year. The price includes the flight, insurance, the equipment, brunch and a certificate recording your flight.
Ultralight Flights

Aero-Provence offers you the chance to fly in a state-of-the-art ultralight for unforgettable trip above the Alpes de Haute-Provence or further east to the high Alps near the Italian border.
You can decide with the pilot which route you wish to take. Depending on your budget, there are several alternatives to choose from.
Glider Flights
Experience the thrill of unpowered flight with Aero-Provence as you take to the skies in a glider. You’ll experience magical moments of silence at speeds ranging from 50 to 125 mph!
Your pilot Tom has clocked up 4.5 thousand hours of flying time and will safely show you the incredible snow-capped summits of the French Alps.
