Camping, Mobile Home and Chalet Accommodation
Choose a shady spot amongst the pine trees, soak up the sun, or relax to the sound of the river with a riverside pitch. With its very own beach along a bend in river, you’re never very far from a refreshing swim.
Tent, Caravan and Campervan Pitches
The campsite occupies a leafy 7 hectares along the Verdon river. 143 pitches with varying amounts of shade place are arranged to blend in with the natural surroundings. Tents, caravans and campervans are all welcome.
Chalet and Mobile Home Accommodation
To raise the comfort stakes, choose glamorous camping in a Camping Indigo safari tent. Or for home-from-home comfort, choose a bungalow, chalet or mobile home.
Campsite Facilities
The facilities are extensive without being overwhelming with a friendly reception, a reasonably priced café-restaurant, a handy shop, plus newly renovated toilet and shower blocks.
The campsite’s new central lodge is the spot to grab a coffee, relax with a book or play a game with the family. The café-restaurant with its shaded terrace overlooking the river serves up homemade pizza and grilled meats. There is free WiFi in the restaurant area.
2 newly refurbished toilet and shower blocks with baby changing facilities are available, and a campervan service area is on hand. Campers can rent barbecues and fridges on a first come, first served basis, enjoy fresh bread each morning and avail of the camping supplies store at reception in case you’ve forgotten anything.
Campsite Activities
Easy access to the campsite’s beach which stretches along a bend in the Verdon river means you can take a refreshing dip in the clear water whenever you feel like it.
If you don’t fancy the river, but still want some water-based fun, just stroll across to the heated pool. Deck chairs and sun shades are available and there’s a paddling pool for younger children.
Activities nearby
The Parc Naturel Régional du Verdon covers an area close 200,000 hectares, and there’s plenty of opportunities to get active in this natural wonderland.
Being a riverside campsite, a great way to experience the Gorges is to try some watersports on the Verdon river itself. Rafting, kayaking, canyoning and aqua trekking are all easy to organise.
The Gorges du Verdon also has some fantastic hiking and biking trails and world-class rock climbing. Ask at the campsite reception for reputable guides or check out our page on Gorges du Verdon activities.
Testimonials
Beautiful location, great with young kids. We had a great week camping at this campsite with our two boys, aged 4 and 5. I thought it struck just the right balance between being natural and peaceful while having some family entertainment, with evening entertainment that generally wasn’t too loud and didn’t go on too late.

Beautiful campsite set on the banks of the river Verdon. Perfect for people who love camping more than a resort style site. We chose a pitch by the river (in hindsight not clever with a toddler that loves water) most of the bank is quite steep but there are a couple of places were you can easily access the river.
