Owner/rider Steve is your guide, he holds the full French guiding qualification, so there are no worries with legalities and safety on the mountain – just great riding.

On top of our classic chalet holidays we also offer the option of some longer tours using the mountain refuges which can be found in loads of stunning locations around Briancon. Whether it’s an epic tour into the Italian peaks nearby, or scouting out some intense hike-a-bike in the Ecrins national park, there’s some real adventure to be had.

Aside from our mtb trips, we’re also ideally situated for the ultimate in road cycling holidays too! Situated in the centre of Briancon, our luxury catered chalet is at the foot of some of the biggest and most iconic names in the cycling world – the Col du Galibier, Lautaret, Izoard, Granon and Telegraph. We’re also very close to Alpe d’Huez, the Glandon, Croix de Fer, Sestriere and more, and we can assist with all the vehicle, mechanical and logistical support you need during your stay.
A regular stop for the Tour de France, the medieval city of Briançon is a fantastic base from which to cycle the high alps. Ride in the shadow of the Tour and take on legendary cols, including Izoard, Col de Vars and Galibier.

Ride incredible routes straight from the chalet, and strike out on longer supported rides too. Ride south from Briançon and take on the Col de Vars and the Bonnette, where we can pick you up and bring you back to the chalet for a soak in the hot tub. The possibilities are endless and Bike Alp can provide all the support you need, so that you can focus on enjoying the riding.

The Bike Alp chalet, situated right in Briançon town centre, sleeps up to 10 people in 5 ensuite bedrooms. just a 5 minute walk to the ski lifts, restaurants, bars and old citadel, with stunning views over the surrounding mountains.

Bedrooms are equipped with king size beds that can be split into 2 singles to accommodate different group sizes. A large, comfortable living room with english TV, balcony terrace with outside beer fridge and hot tub make for some great après-ride unwinding! A secure garage and workshop takes care of the evening fettling and there’s private parking if you’re driving down.
Weekly rates include 7 nights accommodation, delicious evening meals and hearty breakfasts, and all the vehicle support you need. Airport transfers from Turin can also be arranged.
