This year it is the seventh time that the Swatch Rocket Air takes place and once again you can expect plenty of action. After intense qualification rounds, the standard has been sky high and only the very best riders are through. The winner will be announced on Saturday evening. For the riders, big prize money and important points in the Freeride Mountain Bike World Tour aren’t the only reasons why they like to come to Switzerland. The event may take place in the Swiss Alps but the riders can prepare themselves for a completely different kind of atmosphere because the theme for the 2016 Swatch Rocket Air is “Into The Jungle“. The course designers have pulled out the stops to build a course that both the riders and the spectators will love. After all, it’s the little things that make the difference, like the ‘fully equipped’ elephant cutout! Set a reminder for 8pm Saturday to watch a troupe of crazy monkeys fighting for points in the freeride circus of the FMB World Tour.
