Watch South of France mountain biking at its finest as some of the biggest names in French mountain biking rip up the trails where the Alps meet the Mediterranean.
Loic Bruni and Fabien Barel kick off the action in the latest mtb edit from GenepiFILM. The punchy intro has aerial footage of an alpine ridge from the Trans-Provence, the legendary Enduro race widely regarded as one of the toughest events in the mtb calendar.
Showcasing the sheer variety of terrain this part of France has to offer, the riders kick up some dust in the Mercantour National Park, home to the Terres Noires, blast Alpine meadow singletrack and take on technical descents through the trees around Roubion.
With 300 days of sunshine a year and endless trails through big mountain terrain, France’s Alpes Maritimes region is a top spot for a mountain biking holiday. For guided rides and tailor made itineraries, check out 1001 Sentiers.
