Mountain Biking in Roubion-les-Buisses

A far cry from the glitz and glamour of the Cote d’Azur, yet just 70 km away, Roubion is a traditional and typically French mountain resort with some awesome terrain for mountain biking.

The Trails

Roubion has become a must visit destination for mountain bikers in the south of France. The chairlift, although a bit slow, allows you to access more than a dozen tracks, from easy green trails ideal for riders new to the sport, right through to steep, technical black trails only suitable for advanced riders. The trails are far from manicured and the natural feel of the red trails with their roots and rocks will please purists.

The bikepark at Roubion, also accessible from the chairlift, has plenty of drops, jumps and North Shore features to keep freeriders amused. A mini bikepark down at the base of the resort is great for younger kids. Roubion also has 4 graded XC routes that loop out from resort and are free to ride without a lift pass. The lift is open at the weekend and bank holidays from early May to the beginning of October. In July and August, the lift runs on a Friday as well.
