Mountain Biking in Les 2 Alpes

Les Deux Alpes is located in the southern French Alps and is a huge, high altitude mountain biking area. The town itself is spread along a narrow valley and isn’t the most attractive alpine town, but the setting is superb and there’s always something fun going on if you’re a mountain biker visiting in the summer months, and events like Crankworx have put the resort firmly on the mountain biking map.

Les 2 Alpes Bike Park is the term used to describe the whole mountain bike area including all the cross-country, downhill and slopestyle trails, pump track and 4X track. Well maintained trails, good fast lifts and the number and quality of features like jumps, berms and drops make Les 2 Alpes Bike Park one of the best in the Alps.

Some riders have said that the 2 Alpes trails aren’t technical enough, but if you’re prepared to seek it out, some of the harder to reach singletrack will challenge even advanced riders. Try the Enduro World Series track, for example.
