Get set for the 21st edition of the Nice Half-Marathon!
The International Half-Marathon of Nice takes place on Sunday April 29th. Meet on one of the most beautiful avenues in the world – the Promenade des Anglais. There’s a running event for everyone, so bring along all the family to enjoy one of the best sporting events on the Riviera. Last year more than 8000 runners took part in the race in the Baie des Anges.
Four races to choose from
For enthusiasts, there’s the full 21.1km half marathon distance with the key with the possibility of qualifying for the Half Marathon Championships in France.
For weekend warriors, there’s the 10km run – long enough to be a challenge, but not so long that you’ll have to spend the rest of your French Riviera holiday in an ice bath. Unless of course, you’re planning on treating the event as a qualifier for the upcoming Championships in France in that distance.
2.5 km walk or 5 km run for the test of Niçoise Nice-Matin, which allows everyone, regardless of fitess, to raise awareness of breast cancer through the Défi de Femmes organisation. A minor point for this event – the race strictly ladies only. Sorry guys!
Finally, the 2 km Little Champions event, will enable all young budding runners from 9 to 16 years to discover the joys of running.
