Snowshoeing in the Chamonix Valley

Snowshoeing in Val d’Abondance
Val d’Abondance is based in the Portes du Soleil, and features two popular ski resorts: La Chapelle d’ Abdondance and Abondance.
Snowshoeing in the Vanoise National Park
Vanoise National Park was created in 1963, the first of its kind in the country. La Clusaz – Plateau de Beauregard is a stunning Nordic ski plateau, home to crisp snow, deer, foxes, and more, with perfect panoramic views. Peisey-Nancroix is a village connected with striking slopes (200km high), offering gorgeous views and an environment suitable for snowshoeing-beginners.
Snowshoeing in the Pralognan la Vanoise
Pralognan la Vanoise sits at one of the most impressive ice caps in the Alps, ideal for snowshoeing adventures in sumptuous surroundings. The Ecrins National Park is in south-east France, and home to three stunning locations for snowshoeing to suit all preferences : Serre Chevalier ; Alpe d’Huez – Col d’Ornon ; and Orcieres. All three of these are popular with snowsports-fans at various levels.
