A Thrill-Seekers Guide
The Marmotte Granfondo Pyrénées has everything of a Marmotte! A long distance route (163 km), difficult ascent (5500 m/D+), hors catégories passes (Tourmalet pass, Hautacam) and breathtaking sceneries.
After a successful first edition, the Marmotte Granfondo Pyrénées is already shining on the international plan, and it won’t need a long time to become famous like its Alpine big sister.
Supported by the Department of Hautes-Pyrénées and villages of Argelès-Gazost and Luz-Saint-Sauveur, this race will lead you through the most wonderful passes of Pyrenees (Tourmalet, Hourquette d’Ancizan, Aspin) and end in Hautacam, 5 times the arrival in the Tour de France.
